 We have current opening for a Bartender to work on a part time (as needed basis).  Shifts run from 4:00 - 9:30 pm, with an occasional weekend or special event.  Our Food and Beverage staff are paid a competitive hourly rate, rather than working for tips, and can earn increases based on job performance.   

The bartender is responsible for alcoholic beverage service in the lounge and dining room.  Other duties include:

    • Ensures bar is properly stocked with supplies prior to opening.
    •  Prepares fresh drink garnishes daily.

    • Provides beverage service for the dining room.
    • Maintains all documents necessary to accurately reflect resident bar charges.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bartending experience in a hotel, restaurant or club with fine dining experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, supervisor and peers. Requires courtesy, tact and graciousness.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Requirements:

  • Current Georgia State Certified Nursing Assistant License and First Aid and CPR Certification (through the American Heart Association).

We have a current opening for a Maintenance Technician. This is a temporary position, 40 hours per week with some Saturdays required.

Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing various aspects of general and preventive maintenance to protect and maintain buildings, equipment, utility and electrical systems.

Successful candidates will possess at least four years’ experience in maintenance at commercial facilities, school systems, apartment complexes or hotels in all disciplines such as plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, refrigeration, ground maintenance, masonry and general maintenance.

 Requirements:

We have current opening for an Administrative Assistant in our Marketing and Sales Department.    This is a full time (40 hour) Monday - Friday position.  An occasional evening or weekend maybe required for special events or projects.  In addition to a competitive base hourly rate, this position also receives commission. 

This position provides support for the department by managing administrative functions from completing reports to closing documents, serving as the key liaison between sales, new buyers, operations, and vendors to achieve timely closings.  This position will work with clients as their guide to record and process the customization of their new residence (flooring, countertops etc.). Managing the internal coordination of paperwork, work orders, follow up and detailed communication on the process, estimates and contracts from the beginning through the closing and move in schedules.

Candidates must have the following qualification to be considered for this position:

  • Excellent organization skills and interpersonal communications along with proven ability to communicate well and work with seniors.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products.  Ability to learn and master new computer programs and work order systems.
  • Proven ability to multi task, set and meet deadlines.  Must have the ability to focus and work in a fast-paced team environment is critical.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and problem solving while working with resident/buyers, contractors, service providers and sales staff.

We are currently considering candidates for hospitality focused Security Officer. Candidates must be flexible, as these positions are scheduled as needed.

The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all residents, visitors, staff and protecting community property, verifying the scheduled presence of all employees, when required, and validating credentials of visitors and contractors on the grounds.  Makse scheduled rounds both inside and outside of buildings to maintain a secure environment for residents and their property as well as company property. Verify buildings are locked and secured as directed by the Supervisor. Document reading on facility equipment such as boilers, pumps, etc. and report readings that are out of established ranges. Respond to all fire alarms, medical emergencies (in assistance to nursing), and vehicle accidents on property and take actions as directed. Take necessary action in response to fire alarms to isolate sprinkler leaks or other plumbing leaks.

Security officers also handle light maintenance and resident assistance when needed such as assisting residents with basic instructions on the operation of TV’s and other electronic equipment, air conditioning controls, etc., assisting residents  needing assistance with baggage, repair of electronic card key locks involving battery changes and reprogramming and / or interrogating locks, enter new gate access entrance codes and delete unauthorized codes, maintain the resident bar coding system, performing data backups and log printouts as directed. Performs light maintenance such as plunging toilets, changing light bulbs, checking fire extinguishers, changing smoke detector batteries, taking portable air units when air conditioner is out..

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to understand and follow both verbal and written instructions in English, effectively communicate both verbally and in writing, and perform basic arithmetic.
  • High School graduate or GED equivalent
  • Must demonstrate moderate computer skills needed.
  • High level of customer service orientation.
  • At least three years’ experience in a similar, active security position
  • Will require Drug Screen and clean Background Investigation.
  • CNA or EMS training a plus.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Light to Moderate physical effort;
  • May be exposed to the elements (heat, cold, rain, snow);
  • Work on roof top and other high places;
  • Ability to set up and climb ladders safely to reach shutoff valves up to 10 feet.
  • Must be able to lift 80 pounds to assist nursing lifting residents or assist with light maintanance ;
  • Must be able to walk, stand and stoop for an extended period of time.
  • Will be required to work flexible shift work and to be available for periodic fill in of other shifts to fill unplanned absences.

This is a great entry level position for someone interested in learning more about up-scale restaurant / food service. Part time schedules are currently available.
